The works of acclaimed Spanish artist Joan Miro inspired the latest project by youngsters from The Grange P-12 College.

Years 1 and 2 pupils created drawings, which are on display at Hogan’s Corner, using Miro’s works as their muse.

Visual art teacher Tracy McGougan said the children’s artworks were “striking in their simplicity”.

“The students did a random line drawing activity, inspired by the art works of Joan Miro,” Ms McGougan said.

“The students were encouraged to cover all the paper with their random line drawing and concentrate on filling each shape with a separate colour.”
