WERRIBEE Tigers were victorious by six points over Coburg Tigers in a hard slog of a Victorian Football League practice match at Highgate Recreation Reserve in Craigieburn on Saturday.
Onballer Ben Ross underlined his desire to have a major impact after joining the Tigers full-time with a best-on-ground performance.
Meanwhile, the Tigers will launch the season at the Village Cinemas Werribee on Wednesday night. Supporters get the chance to hear from new coach Scott West and Robbie Castello about their expectations for the year ahead.
