City West Falcons fell short to the Geelong Cougars by 14-goals in round two of the Championship Victorian Netball League.

After a 10-goal lead to the Cougars after the first quarter, the game proved too hard for the Falcons to comeback, as they lost 58-44 at the final whistle.

Having experienced Falcons goal shooter Jane Cook out of the side proved to make it difficult for them to post a winning score.

The Falcons managed to pick up a win in the under 19 competition with 58-44 over the Cougars.

In division 1, the Falcons fell short losing by nine-goals 54-45.
