A fast and furious basketball tournament will be the highlight of a week-long celebration of being young in Wyndham.
Wyndham council is hosting a series of bands, artists and DJs, with free food and market stalls, as part of Youth Week festivities.
Activities include Wyndham Basketball Championship today (Wednesday) from 10am at Eagle Stadium.
Teams of five will battle it out in quick 10-minute games, with the clock not stopping for any interruption to play, other than injury.
Learning city portfolio holder Josh Gilligan called for youngsters aged between 12 and 25 to get involved.
“These quick and exciting games are sure to draw a crowd, and I can’t wait to see how many people take part on the day,” Cr Gilligan said.
