Tarneit man arrested

A Tarneit man wanted in relation to six outstanding warrants has been charged.
Officers from Wyndham’s Community Safety Team questioned the 33-year-old man in Tarneit on Monday.
Police discovered the man had six outstanding warrants for not appearing in court in relation to various driving matters.

He was also wanted for questioning in relation to an alleged hit and run involving two vehicles in Hoppers Crossing in May this year.

The man was arrested and charged with various driving offences, but nothing related to the alleged hit and run.

He was bailed to appear at the Werribee Magistrates Court in February next year.
