The number of active COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Wyndham residents has risen by more than 200 cases within a week.
Wyndham residents have been diagnosed with a total of 910 active coronavirus cases as of today, compared to 671 active cases last Friday.
Apart from Wyndham, the municipalities with the highest number of active coronavirus cases in the state are Brimbank (849 active cases), Hume (567 active cases), Whittlesea (526 active cases) and Melton (484 active cases).
For individual postcode data, as of today:
The 3029 postcode, which includes Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina, has the highest number of active cases in the state, at 459 cases.
The 3030 postcode, which covers Point Cook, Quandong, Werribee and Werribee South, has the third-highest number of active cases in the state, at 327 cases.
The 3042 postcode, which takes in Mambourin, Manor Lakes, Mount Cottrell and Wyndham Vale, has 110 active cases.
The 3028 postcode, including Altona Meadows, Laverton and Seabrook, has 53 active cases.
Williams Landing has 26 active cases, Laverton North and Derrimut have 22 active cases and Little River has 11 active cases.
Eighty cases have been linked to BaptCare Wyndham Lodge Community in Werribee and 73 cases have been linked to Glendale Aged Care Facility in Werribee.
Forty-four cases have been linked to the Linfox warehouse in Truganina
Victoria has recorded 450 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday.
The overall total has increased by 398, due to 52 cases being reclassified – largely due to duplication.
Within Victoria, 42 of the new cases are linked to known outbreaks or complex cases and 408 are under investigation.
There have been 11 new deaths from COVID-19 reported since yesterday. They include a woman in her 50s, two men in their 70s, three men and three women in their 80s and two women in their 90s.
Seven of the 11 new deaths are linked to known outbreaks in aged care facilities. To date, 181 people have died from coronavirus in Victoria.
In Victoria, 7637 cases of the virus remain active. There are 1548 active cases relating to aged care facilities and 911 healthcare workers have an active case of the virus.
Overall, 607 Victorian people with coronavirus are in hospital, including 41 patients in intensive care. 5829 Victorians have recovered from the virus.
