Police find $150,000 worth of goods

Police have found beauty products, baby formula, cosmetics and other items valued in excess of $150,000 at residential properties, as part of an investigation into a series of shoplifting offences in Werribee and Hoppers Crossing.

Wyndham CIU detectives executed warrants at residential properties in St Albans and Deer Park this morning, as part of of the ongoing investigation.

A 25-year-old woman from St Albans has been charged with four counts of possess proceeds of crime and five counts of handle stolen goods.

The woman was bailed and will appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on March 4 next year.
