Night of mystery

A masquerade mystery night will be held at Wyndham’s Youth Resource Centre at 86 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing this Friday night. Organised by the centre’s events committee, the mystery night is open to young people aged 12-17. Food and drink will be provided. The night will include a screening of Sherlock Holmes. Starts 6pm. Tickets: $2.

Declutter your life

Is your garage bursting at the seams? Take part in a free workshop at Wyndham Vale Community Learning Centre, 85 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Wyndham Vale this Saturday to learn how to declutter your life. It’s from 10.30am-12.30pm. Places are limited.

Community lunch

Enjoy a two-course meal and learn about the programs, events and activities on offer at Iramoo Community Centre. Lunch is available for a small donation from midday on Wednesday, September 17 at 84 Honour Avenue, Wyndham Vale.

Enjoy a day on the green

Why not give lawn bowls a go at Werribee Bowls Club? Social games are held at the Chirnside Park club on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The club offers social or full memberships, with activities including bingo at 7pm Thursdays.

Garage sale trail

Bargain hunters can hit the streets of Wyndham on Saturday, October 25 for a day of simultaneous garage sales. The city is taking part in a national event designed to give households, businesses and community groups a chance to declutter and raise money.

Celebrate Wyndham

Head to the civic centre to celebrate Wyndham’s 150th anniversary on Sunday, October 12 from 10am to 3pm. Activities will include horse and carriage rides, old-fashioned games, live entertainment and a heritage walking tour.

Charity fun day

Help raise money for Breast Cancer Network Australia during a fun day at Wyndham Civic Centre on Sunday, October 26 from 11am. Organised by Point Cook Motorcycle Club, the event is part of a charity ride from Docklands to Werribee involving more than 500 motorcyclists.
