Werribee’s MacKillop College is one of 11 schools in Victoria to get a $25,000 grant from the Cancer Council of Australia to extend shaded areas.
Principal Rory Kennedy said that as enrolments grew, the school was more aware than ever of the need to create a shade-friendly outdoor environment.
