Show your support for cancer research by taking part in Werribee Central Tennis Club’s annual women’s ‘‘cuppa for cancer’’ round robin event. The doubles competition, for players of all abilities, is on May 22 from 9.30am at the club’s Shaws Road courts. Entry: $5.

The Werribee and Districts Cancer Support Group is a positive, supportive group for people with cancer and their carers, families and friends. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month in Werribee from 7pm.

Computer tutors for seniors
Werribee Men’s Shed is looking for volunteer trainers to teach seniors how to use computers. The introductory course, will cover basic Windows, Word, email and internet use. Tutors need to be available for a half a day every week.
