Saturday afternoon horse racing returned to Werribee racecourse at the weekend.
Punters were treated to an eight-race card, which was dominated by short-priced favourites.
Only Stella’s Choice in race one and Hot Shoe Shuffln in the fifth provided any sort or respite for the bookmakers.
They crossed the line in first place in their races at 11-1 and 15-1 respectively.
Werribee Racing Club’s next meeting is on Sunday, June 15.
The club will then have a break before the running of the Werribee Cup on Thursday, November 20.
