Police are searching for a credit card thief who used the stolen card at businesses in Point Cook and other areas.
The male thief is believed to have broken into a car on Santander Crescent, Point Cook, on September 29 and stolen a wallet with the card, from the centre console.
The man used the card at a number of service stations, supermarkets and other businesses in Point Cook, Brimbank, Cairnlea and Sunshine, police said.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged 25-35, with dark brown medium-length hair, with a beard, a tattoo on his left forearm, and wearing a “Nike” tee-shirt and jeans.
