Room for everyone in Tarneit

A NEW community centre in Tarneit will open its doors later this year.

The Penrose Promenade community hub will feature two kindergarten rooms, three community meeting rooms, two maternal and child health consulting rooms, offices for council’s resident support services staff, two group activity rooms, a dining room and sensory gardens.

Cr John Gibbons said the $9.4 million hub would boost family, aged and disability services.

“From newborns to older residents, Penrose Promenade community hub will cater for the needs of residents regardless of their stage of life,” he said.
