Here’s a quick look at some of the other sport from across Whittlesea and Hume over the last week.

BOWLS

Bundoora RSL’s finals hopes are starting to slip away in Bowls Victoria’s Premier Division. Needing wins, or at least to take points from defeats, RSL lost three of the four rinks in going down 86 (16) – 81 (2) against Altona on Saturday. The loss sees RSL 18 points behind fourth-placed Yarraville Footscray. RSL’s second team had a draw against Whittlesea in division 1, section 4. The two teams couldn’t be split, finishing 77 (9) apiece. In the same division, Lalor lost 82 (14) – 70 (4) against Lilydale. Craigieburn and Broadmeadows both suffered losses in division 2, section2.
