NPL teams enter Australia Cup

The Australia Cup will hit another level in round four with the National Premier League teams entering the competition.

The draw for the fourth round was released last Friday with a number of interesting match ups scheduled for March 29.

All sides would have started their regular seasons by that stage.

Werribee City starts its Australia Cup campaign against Dandenong Thunder.

Green Gully, which made the national stage last season, plays the Eastern Lions in its first match of the competition,

New state league 1 north-west team Westgate will play the Geelong Rangers, while North Sunshine Eagles will host Williamstown.

Keilor Park will play Box Hill United, while Westvale Olympic will face Old Scotch.

The Keilor Wolves are having another strong Australia Cup and will face Ashburton in the fourth round. The Wolves are one of few state league 4 teams left in the competition, with Greenvale United and La Trobe University among the others.

Caroline Springs George Cross will face NPL side Altona Magic, while St Albans Saints will travel to face Frankston Pines.

Brimbank Stallions will also be on the road against Gippsland United, while the Melbourne Knights will host Corio.

State league 1 north-west side Whittlesea United will host the Bulleen Lions, while Whittlesea Ranges are looking to back up a 9-0 win in round three against the Manningham United Blues.
