Werribee City secured a hard-earned 1-1 draw on the road against Green Gully Cavaliers in the NPL on Monday night.
Mathew Sanders put Gully ahead at 14 minutes, a lead that held firm into half-time. But Werribee City would not go away, finding an equaliser through Christopher Cristaldo six minutes after the break to gain a share of the points.
Two points from five games may not seem a lot for the Bees but they have played four of the top five sides on the ladder. Next up for the Bees, top-of-the-ladder Melbourne Knights will pay a visit to Galvin Park on Sunday.
