Williams Landing Shopping Centre ram raided

UPDATED: Detectives are on the hunt for three offenders who ram raided Williams Landing Shopping Centre overnight and attempted to steal two ATMs.

It’s believed a stolen silver Nissan Navara ute was used to drive through the front doors of the shopping centre about 5am.

Cedar Woods state manager Patrick Archer said it looked like the offenders did not gain access to any stores, but attempted to steal two ATMs.

The offenders fled the scene in a white Ford Econovan with an unknown registration.

Mr Archer said security guards were on site at the time and reported the incident to police.

“We’ve already got a contractor looking at reinstatement [of the door] and more stringent security measures.”

Senior Sergeant Matt Noy from the Wyndham crime investigation unit said police were looking for three offenders in relation to the incident, and were reviewing CCTV footage of this morning’s ram raid.

“Nothing was stolen from the actual premises, but substantial damage was caused as a result of the incident,” Senior Sergeant Noy said.

Police believe today’s incident is not linked to an attempted theft at the centre’s Tattslotto outlet last week.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Wyndham CIU on 9742 9444.
