Two teens have been arrested and charged following a daylight robbery at the front of Pacific Werribee earlier this week.
Police allege the two male offenders, aged 16 and 17 respectively, approached two 16-year-old males at a bus stop at Pacific Werribee about 4pm on Monday and demanded their phones and wallets, threatening to stab the teens if they did not comply.
The victims handed over a number of personal items and the offenders fled on foot.
Acting Inspector Peter Bitton said police arrived on the scene 30 minutes later and the victims were able to use CCTV footage to identify the alleged offenders.
Police arrested two teenagers a short time later at Pacific Werribee. They have been charged with robbery and theft and will appear in court at a later date.
