Two hospitalised after Hoppers Crossing crash

Two people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Hoppers Crossing this afternoon.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said that paramedics were called to the intersection of Heaths and Morris roads just after 1.30pm.

A woman was taken to Footscray Hospital, in a stable condition, with injuries to her leg.

A second person was also transported to the Footscray Hospital, in a stable condition.

Another two people, who sustained minor injuries, were assisted at the scene.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was believed about five cars were involved in the accident.
