Police charged a Truganina man and two others on Thursday in relation to allegedly importing methamphetamine and pseudoephedrine into Australia.
The Victorian Joint Organised Crime Taskforce (JOCTF) arrested the trio following an investigation into a transnational organised crime syndicate allegedly attempting to import commercial quantities of border controlled drugs and precursors into the state.
On Thursday, July 27, police executed a number of search warrants in Truganina, Strathtulloh and Wallan, allegedly resulting in the seizure of a large number of electronic devices and a large quantity of suspected 1,4-Butanediol.
The 23-year-old Truganina man, a 41-year old Strathtulloh man, and a 27-year-old Wallan man have each been charged with a number of offences, including drug offences.
Investigations remain ongoing and further charges are expected to be laid, police said/
The men appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 27.
