Teens arrested following Point Cook carjacking

Police have arrested four teens, including two boys from Wyndham, in relation to an alleged aggravated carjacking in Point Cook last month.

It is understood by police that the group approached a vehicle parked on Adelphi Boulevard about 9.50pm on Thursday, April 24.

Police will allege one of the males threatened the female passenger with an edged weapon, before they fled in the Toyota Prius.

The driver was not inside the vehicle at the time, the female passenger managed to flee and no one was seriously injured.

A 15-year-old Little River boy has since been charged with two counts of aggravated carjacking, armed robbery, theft, and theft of motor vehicle.

He was remanded in custody to appear before a children’s court at a later date.

A 13-year-old Little River boy was released pending summons.

A 16-year-old Traralgon girl was also released pending summons and a 15-year-old Dandenong male was cautioned in relation to the incident.
