Store deep cleaned after worker tests positive

The ALDI store in Wyndham Village, Tarneit has undergone a deep clean after a worker tested positive for COVID-19.

An ALDI Australia spokesperson said the employee was in isolation and following all health department directions.

“The risk to any customers who have recently visited the store is very low,” the spokesperson said.

“We have completed a deep clean of the store and as a precaution, store employees that were in potential close contact to the staff member are in self-isolation and are undergoing testing.

“We have strict social distancing measures, including screen guards at registers, in place across all of our stores.

“Customers and team members should be assured that they can continue to shop safely at ALDI Tarneit.”
