Tarneit P-9 College has closed for 24 hours, after being advised of a reported case of COVID-19.
The case has been reported to the Department of Education and Training.
The Department of Health and Human Services is undertaking a further investigation.
As a precautionary measure, the school and Big Child Care have been closed for 24 hours or until the school receives advice that it can re-open.
The school will be closed to all students, staff and members of the community until further notice.
