School assault in Hoppers Crossing

A student was taken to hospital after an alleged assault which occurred at a Hoppers Crossing school yesterday (Tuesday, February 12).

Police and emergency services were called to reports of an assault at the Fraser Street school just after 11am.

A 15-year-old girl sustained minor injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital for observation.

It is alleged the girl was assaulted by another student, a 17-year-old girl, whom police spoke to at the scene.
