Heavy rain has forced the closure of sporting ovals and reserves across Wyndham for the next 24 hours.
Wyndham council announced the closure Tuesday afternoon after more than 58 millimeters of rain fell on the municipality between 5pm on Monday April 1 and 9am on April 2.
The closure means that all sporting clubs across all codes that use ovals and grounds are required to cancel training on Tuesday night.
No training can take place on ovals or grounds until at least 4pm on Wednesday April 3.
Wyndham council staff will reassess all grounds and reserves tomorrow and clubs are advised to wait for official confirmation before resuming training.
