Police search for elderly Point Cook woman

Missing Point Cook woman Linda Ettendfield

An elderly Point Cook woman suffering from a medical condition has been missing since the early hours of Monday morning.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help find Linda Ettendfield, 79, who was last seen at her Sanctuary Lakes South Boulevard home on Sunday night.

Investigators believe she left her home between midnight and 7am this morning with her dog.

Police spokeswoman Natalie Webster said Ms Ettenfield often speaks of Canberra and has previously been found at Southern Cross train station.

Police are currently searching the Point Cook area for the missing woman.

She was last seen wearing red tracksuit pants and pink shoes.

Anyone who sees Linda is urged to contact Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
