The Werribee Centrals Junior Football Club will host a registration day and sausage sizzle for young players this weekend.
The club is looking for children to join its Under-9, Under-10, Under-11 and Under-12 teams.
They are particularly wanting to encourage more girls from within the community to join the Under-12’s side.
The registration event will be held on Saturday from 9am to midday at Galvin Park Reserve, Werribee.
On the day, families will be asked to put down a deposit to ensure their child’s place in the team.
The total fee (per child) for the year is $220, but pay in full before round one starts in mid-April to receive a $20 discount.
The club is also offering a special deal for girls who want to join the Under-12 team.
If a girl brings a friend along to the registration day, they will both able to join the team for the price of one player, rather than two.
