A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Truganina on Sunday.
Police said they believe that the woman was driving in her vehicle along the Western Freeway, when it veered off road and into a wire rope barrier about 5.45pm.
The 35-year-old Rockbank woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in a critical condition. She died in hospital on the next day.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
