Eleven more kindergartens are set to open at state schools across Victoria in 2026 and 2027, several of which will be in Wyndham.
The state government says the new kinders will create more than 1700 new places and make school runs easier on commuting parents or guardians.
Manor Lakes P-12 College (opening 2026), Iramoo Primary School Point Cook South P-9 (interim name), Skye Primary School, Fishermans Bend Primary School (interim name), Mirniyan Primary School, Clyde Creek North Primary School (interim name), Carwatha College P-12 Sunbury College, Footscray North Primary School, Benalla P-12 College Clarke Street Campus will be the locations of the new kindergartens.
Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn said the new kinders would bring quality kindergarten programs to communities where they are needed most.
“We’re building new kinders at schools right across the state, making quality kindergarten programs easier to access and making life easier for Victorian families.” she said.
