Department store theft

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a man after a theft in Hoppers Crossing on Thursday, June 4.

At approximately 11.25am, a man entered a Derrimut Road department store, where he has proceeded to collect several clothing items in a duffle bag.

He then left the store without attempting to pay for any of the items.

Police have released images of a man whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 180cm tall, approximately 55 years old, with a solid build and light coloured hair.

At the time of the offence he was wearing a grey jumper, beige pants and black Nike sneakers. He was also carrying a dark blue Adidas duffle bag.
