Wyndham’s Chinese community paid homage to its cultural heritage at a two-day exhibition at the Point Cook Learning Centre.
Members of the Point Cook Chinese Friendship Association spent the past year creating Chinese calligraphy, paintings and photos, which went on display last Thursday and Friday.
Association president Michael Tan said the association celebrated traditional Chinese culture and values.
“We try to help new migrants to settle in Wyndham because, being new, they can’t speak English.” The group meets Thursdays between 10am and 3pm.
