Police have charged six males in relation to two armed robberies at a Werribee convenience store earlier this year.
Police said the Derwent Road business was robbed by a group of four males on June 17.
The men, who were allegedly armed with knives, stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
The same store was robbed by up to eight youths, who were also allegedly armed with knives, on July 9.
Again, the offenders stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
An 18-year-old Mooroolbark man has been charged with armed robbery in relation to both incidents.
He appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Saturday where he was remanded to face the court again today.
An 18-year-old Ringwood man and a 16-year-old Bayswater boy have both been charged with armed robbery in relation to the July 9 incident.
Three 17-year-olds from Werribee have also been charged with armed robbery.
