A BMW was stolen from a Wyndham Vale home’s driveway this morning while a five-year-old boy was inside the vehicle.
The car was spotted in Norlane, near Geelong, half an hour later and police gave chase, while the child was still inside.
Two men abandoned the car and fled on foot, and police are searching for them.
The boy was unharmed in the incident and is safe and well.
Police are currently searching for the two men involved in the theft.
The car was stolen from the driveway of the Kinglake Drive home about 6.30am, and was spotted in Norlane about 7am.
