Building a career: MultiSkills Training

MultiSkills Training aims to help students to unleash their potential when learning about civil construction and plant operations.

Fittingly, the slogan of the Werribee business, which began in 2011, is “Unleash your potential”.

MultiSkills Training runs 22 vocational education courses which cover operating machinery such as excavators, backhoes, dozers, skid steers, rollers and front-end loaders, as well as equipment which requires a high-risk WorkSafe licence.

MultiSkills Training client relationship manager Natalie Spiteri said companies often contacted the business when looking for staff.

“We want to see our students succeed, so we endeavour to assist when possible employment opportunities arise,” Ms Spiteri said.

This year, MultiSkills Training has entered the Professional Services category of the Wyndham Business Awards, of which Star Weekly is a media partner.

Entries and nominations are open until June 8, with categories for home-based; logistics; manufacturing; new and emerging; personal services; professional services; trade and construction; people’s choice; arts; experience and hospitality; business person of the year and young business person of the year; mayoral award and the prestigious business of the year.
