Two Oceans Pass is making waves in the Australian music scene.
The rock band is made up of vocalist, composer and producer Jake Turner, his brother Hayden on bass, guitarist Tyler Pace and drummer Charley Phypers.
Pace lives in Hoppers Crossing, while his band mates call Bendigo home.
The band released its debut EP Can You Hear Me Now this year, which features the single Alive.
“At the moment we are getting a bunch of tunes written and hoping to release some stuff during summer,” Pace said.
Pace likened their sound to other bands such as Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin and Karnivool.
Two Oceans Pass also opened for the US band Trapt, when they performed at the Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne.
Pace said Two Oceans Pass members enjoyed the energy which came from performing together.
“We are all on stage for one main reason, playing music for our fans and creating an atmosphere that everyone can get involved in,” he said.
Pace said that in addition to playing local gigs, the band is planning to tour the US. He said the tour would be announced through the band’s website next year.
