Did you buy a lottery ticket from Target Lotto in Hoppers Crossing last week? If so, you could be $2 million richer.
The small outlet at Hoppers Crossing Shopping Centre sold the winning ticket for Saturday’s $30 million Megadraw, and the winner is yet to come forward.
Store owner Carlo Addamo said the ticket was not part of a syndicate, and one local customer holds the lucky one.
“All our customers need to search high and low for this one,” he said.
“Check under your couch, in your glove box, because we’re waiting for that winner.”
Imagining what he would do with the cash, Mr Addamo said he’d splurge on a week-long party, and then leave whatever was left to his wife.
The store is no stranger to selling million-dollar tickets, with the latest being sixth first division prize in 20 months.
Mr Addamo said while he was not privy to statistics on how the Hoppers Crossing store ranked in terms of the rate of winning tickets sold, his store seemed to be one of the luckiest.
