IN FOCUS: Sechi Hair Academy, a cut above

Sechi Hair Academy was originally launched by its dynamic director Klara Sabotkoski in 2011 in Newport before moving to its current location within the heart of Werribee in 2012.

Launched when Klara noticed the absence of registered training organisations in hairdressing and beauty therapy in the Wyndham area, like all entrepreneurs, she saw a need, filled it, and hasn’t looked back.

With more than 80 per cent of graduates securing employment following the completion of the course, it is a fantastic option for those passionate about hairdressing and beauty therapy.

“Sechi Hair Academy, as a registered training organisation, delivers nationally accredited qualifications in hairdressing and beauty therapy with government funded training places available to all eligible students,” Klara says.

The academy’s sophisticated and inviting facilities are of the highest standard, offering family-friendly training hours with close proximity to all modes of transport.

“Sechi Hair Academy ensures that all training is conducted by experienced and qualified trainers and assessors who remain current within the industry.

“Training is presented as face-to-face, with a combination of classroom-based training and practical experience within our training salons.

“This enables students the opportunity to gain crucial and invaluable experience in our buzzing hairdressing salon and the tranquillity of our beauty therapy salon, enhancing their employment opportunities upon completion of their training.

Sechi Hair Academy training salons offer a full range of hairdressing and beauty therapy services available to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays at affordable prices, giving clients an excellent and economical way to receive professional treatments and services without the high expense.

“We pride ourselves on maintaining an ongoing rapport with our graduating students, continuing to support many who have gone on to successfully gain employment within the hairdressing and beauty therapy industries,” Klara says.

Sechi Hair Academy, Level 1, 81 Watton Street, Werribee. Opens 9am-4.30pm Monday-Friday. Academy salon is open to the public 9.15am – 3.45pm Wednesday-Thursday. Inquiries: 8754 0000, email enquiries@sechihairacademy.com or visit sechihairacademy.com.au
