Space meets style: 14 Cruise Street, Point Cook, 3030

Within a hop, step and jump of Alamanda reserve, K-9 college and kindergarten, this Porter Davis-built residence offers lavish space and all the little extras that add up to comfy-luxe.

The comfortable bits are the double-glazed windows, the extra insulation in walls and ceilings and the soft-grey carpeting throughout the top floor, along with the freedom to choose alone or communal times.

The luxe is found in elements such as the sleek Caesarstone forming all benches, the rich timber floorboards that flow throughout the ground floor, the high-end Blanco appliances, the tall ceilings, the fab pizza oven – right down to the bluestone that anchors the alfresco area.

Entry through double doors is to a double-height entry hall where high windows beam in the morning light, and Aussie hardwood stairs draw the eye up to the large mezzanine living room.

Four of the five fitted bedrooms can be found around that room up top. They share a pair of two-way bathrooms, plus there’s a separate toilet. Neighbouring an open study off the entry hall, the main bedroom has twin walk-in robes and a dual-basin en suite.

The living hub is divided into rumpus and family spaces, each with access – via slider and bifolds – to the tri-zone outdoor entertainment area. Covered timber decks are on each side of the alfresco with that bluestone underfoot and steel ceiling fan above. It houses the pizza oven with wood storage beneath, and a sound system sets the mood for any gathering.

The kitchen, with laundry across the way, has a waterfall stone brekkie bench for four, and cabinetry in a mid-grey that matches the glass splashback, as well as a walk-in pantry.

The backyard, on the block of about 610 square metres, has a strip of lawn and pretty plantings, including maturing trees, and there’s a herb/vegie patch. The property also has a double garage with internal access, and side access for caravan or boat.
