A century to in-form opening batsman Matt Dean has put Werribee in a strong position after day one of its Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association clash with Yarraville at Chirnside Park on Saturday.
Dean carved out 122 to be the glue that held the innings together while the rest of the top order struggled. Late runs from Adam Alifraco (35no) and Jake Purton (34) helped the Tigers put up an imposing 7-255 off 80 overs.
