BATHERS, pool toys and sunscreen were put to good use at the Youth Resource Centre last week as Wyndham’s young people celebrated all things summer.
The Hoppers Crossing centre held a summer fun day last Friday as part of its youth holiday program. The day began with games at the centre before participants including Brandon, Riley, Raheem, Jessica, Shanna and Danila (pictured) made a splash at the Werribee Outdoor Olympic Pool.
The holiday program continues this week with a trip to the movies and Whittlesea’s Funfields.
The centre will also host an Australia Day celebration on Friday, featuring games, movies and crafts. Details: youth.wyndham.vic.gov.au.
