Man charged after Hoppers Crossing theft

Police have charged an 18-year-old man following the alleged theft of clothing from a Hoppers Crossing shopping centre last month.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Werribee address this morning and seized a large amount of Nike clothing.

The Werribee man has been charged with theft from shop and was bailed to appear at Werribee Magistrates Court on November 22.

The charges relate to the alleged theft of about $1800 worth of Nike clothing on March 24.

Detectives are still searching for one man in relation to the incident.
