Putting the bins out has never looked so good.
Star Weekly put a call out on Facebook last week, asking for photos of residents who have dressed up to take out their bins out during the Coronavirus pandemic.
We were overwhelmed with the response and loved seeing all your photos.
Manor Lakes woman Sally Hanley said that she dressed up as a dinosaur to put out her bins.
Ms Hanley said her father passed away on March 1, when the pandemic started to hit home across the world.
“Since the first of March, nothing has been right, the whole world is upside down, and people are freaking out,” she said.
“Two of my friends, who don’t know each other, saw the bin isolation page on Facebook and they challenged me to wear my T-Rex costume to put the bin out.”
Ms Hanley said her husband took photos of the occasion, while her daughter recorded it.
“I work in childcare at Wallaby Childcare Centre), and I’m a student with Dynamic Performers Australia, so these days I’m not exactly shy, unlike in my younger years,” she said.
“I like to make people smile, and if I can help someone forget their troubles for just a moment, then me dressing as a T-Rex was totally worth it.”
