Jet fighters, strike bombers and attack helicopters took to the sky in droves at the weekend for the 2019 Avalon Airshow and Aerospace and Defence Exposition. Big crowds braved the sweltering heat to experience a wide range of flying and ground displays, exhibition pavilions and historical re-enactments at Avalon Airport between Friday and Sunday, with more than 200,000 visitors across the three days. ■ Turn to pages 18 and 19 for more photos and a full wrap of the weekend.
