Police are appealing for public assistance after a car crashed into a house in Hoppers Crossing yesterday.
A white Ford sedan allegedly lost control and struck a house at the corner of Mossfiel Drive and Bourke Crescent, shortly before 6am.
Investigators said the male driver of the vehicle fled the scene and is believed to have been picked up nearby by a white utility, similar to a Toyota Hilux.
No one was injured in the collision.
The driver was perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged in his mid-30s.
It is possible he was not wearing shoes.
