Motorcyclist dies in Werribee collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Werribee yesterday.

It is believed the man was riding his black Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle along Heaths Road just after 4.30pm when his bike struck a car that was turning right into Doris Drive.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, bringing this year’s road toll up to 14.

The occupant of the car was not injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or observed the motorcycle prior to the crash.
