It’s time to come out of hibernation and enjoy the best Werribee has to offer at the Watton Street Winter festival this weekend. The festival, co-hosted by the Wyndham Business and Tourism Association and Wyndham council, will feature street performers Born in a Taxi, acrobatic group Strange Fruit, family movies and evening art experiences. There will also be free 40-minute dance parties in Station Place laneways, and a footpath fashion parade hosted by Tonia T Boutique and Francine’s Shoe Boutique. Kids can also join in the creativity with cupcake decorating workshops to be held at Mondells Patisserie. Eight-year-old Alex (left) and brother Nick, 6, eyed off some winter-themed cupcakes last week. For a full list of events, go to www.experiencewyndham.com.au/whatson/winter.
