As the weather warms up, the Werribee Outdoor Pool is set to open for an extra two months.
Wyndham mayor Mia Shaw has announced that under a council trial, the pool will open from October 1 until April 30 next year. The pool usually opens from November to the end of March.
Cr Shaw said the council decided to trial increased opening hours for the pool after a survey of customers.
“It’s not only in summer that the months are warmer, so this trial extension will ensure that our residents can cool down in October and April.”
