Kids costume dress making
Learn how to make beautiful costumes for your little ones at the Tarneit Community Learning Centre, 150 Sunset Views Boulevard, Tarneit, on July 12 from 11am-2pm. To make a fairy angel costume, you will need to bring 1m of net fabric, 1m elastic and 1m fabric in the colour of your choice. For a knight costume, you will need 1m of brown or black fabric and a bundle of scrap fabrics. The class is $30.

50th Charter anniversary
Werribee Rotary Club will be celebrating its 50th Charter Anniversary on August 18 at the Werribee Racing Club Function Centre, starting at 6.30pm. Guest speaker will be 2017-18 Rotary International president Ian Riseley. Tickets are $85 and include a two-course meal, pre-dinner drinks and entertainment. RSVP by August 5.
