Friday night life drawing
Come to Saltwater Community Centre, 153 Saltwater Promenade, Point Cook on May 25 from 7.30-10pm for an untutored life drawing class, with a nude model as your muse. All skill levels from professionals to first-timers are welcome. About half way through the session, there will be a 15-20 minute break for wine, nibbles and a chat. Easels, boards, chairs, and tables are all provided by the studio.
Cost is $20.19, and participants must be aged over 18.

Girls on the green
Ladies, head down to Werribee Bowls Club, 239 Watton Street, Werribee, on June 3 from noon-3pm and give lawn bowls a go. You can play with either bare feet or flat shoes. Experienced female bowlers will be on hand to provide the basics and get you onto the green. Cost is $10 for bowls and a barbecue lunch.

New community choir
Anyone wishing to join a new all-abilities community choir is invited to attend the choir’s first rehearsal on May 21 at 7.30pm in the auditorium of the Werribee Baptist Church, 225 Heaths Road, Werribee. Weekly rehearsals will be held on Mondays at 7.30pm, concluding at 9pm with supper.

End of an era
The Western Suburbs Churches Tennis Association, which has had a 100-year history of organising tennis competitions, is to be wound up. A celebration and reunion of past players will be held at St Stephens Uniting Church, 179 Melbourne Road, Williamstown on Saturday 19 May from 2-4.30pm.
