Learn to ride a bike

Accredited free bike training for women. Drop-in sessions on Fridays from 12.30-3pm from May 18 to June 22 at Werribee Men’s (and Women’s) Shed, rear 55-57a Kookaburra Avenue, Werribee. Wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing. Helmets and bicycles provided.

Self publish your story

Head to the Plaza Library at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre on May 12 from 11am-1pm for this free session about self-publishing. Kathryn Gauci will talk about her writing and self-publishing journey, and Emma Hall from Ingram Spark will talk about turning your manuscript into a book, printing, distribution, getting onto bookstore shelves, marketing and more.

Play Expo

Head to Arndell Park Community Centre, 29-49 Federation Boulevard, Truganina, on May 16 from 10am-1pm for the Play Expo and learn how to give your children play experiences that are low-cost and use everyday items.

Biggest Morning Tea

A Biggest Morning Tea will be held to raise funds for the Cancer Council, at The Clubhouse, Point Cook Village, 320 Point Cook Road, Point Cook, on Thursday, May 17, from 10.30am-1.30pm. For a $5 donation, you will be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, plus refreshments. All welcome.
